The Thomas Hardy Organ
One manual & pedal -
The organ was built by Vowles of Bristol and dates from 1914 and is of one manual and pedals in total only five speaking stops. It is however a charming little instrument and would suit a small church where space is at a premium, although its historical link may be of greater interest to Hardy aficionados!
The specification is as follows:
Manual to Pedal (permanently coupled)
Measurements: Width: 2.26 m (7’5); Depth: 1.16 m (3’9¾) plus 0.4 m (1’3¾) overhang; Height: 4.07 m (13’4¼).
The key and stop action is mechanical and the pedal action pneumatic. The pedalboard is straight and flat.
The organ will be fully restored and installed. Further details here.
Price: €29,000 fully restored.
Price does not include VAT.
